Cash is King

Dear Lymlifers,
Money is the root of all evil and that is one of the truest statements ever spoken. When money is relevant in any of your relationships in life that relationship is flawed. People nowadays put money before emotion. In the world today we forgot how to feel and we always remember to collect. Cash is king in the world we live in. Money has caused us to hate and neglect each other. We have moved forward technologically but we have taken many steps backwards when it comes to emotion. Money will drive you away from the things that really matter. We have lost the love for humanity. People don't believe in themselves they believe in the dollar. We have forgotten what it is to put people first. People have lost faith in humanity and put trust in the dollar. We use each other as stepping stones. Brother against brother, woman against man. Money will make your so called friends quit on you and stray from the righteous path. Don't let capitalism consume you. We must rely and depend on each other. We forgot what it is to lean on each other. Instead we feel the necessity to lean on money. What is money? Money is the piece of paper or metal in which we have given value. Money is the reason you are willing to sell your soul and your kin in hopes of a better life. We have lost the ability to feel for each other. The world has become cold and mechanic. The majority believe it is more important to prosper than to show emotion. Live and let yourself be vulnerable to the ways of the world. Love should be the factor which conquers all but we put so much before our human interactions. Priorities have replaced our ability to feel. I don't hate the man who puts his success before others I just sympathize with him. Our world is in no way forgiving or merciful. Competitive curriculums with no room for mistakes have driven students to cheat and steal. Jobs have driven men to the brink of greed. We no longer feel the necessity to lend that helping hand. Why use our fellow man as a stepping stone when we can join minds and hearts and prosper together. Unity no longer exists due to monetary influence and capitalism. By pushing forward without care we have gained the world at the price of our soul. I pity the man who is willing to sell himself for the fame and riches. Fame and riches come in many different shapes and forms. In a world where most have lost themselves how can you distinguish yourself? I can't help you, you must first want to help yourself. That is all....

I-Vision

A visionary by the name of Steve Jobs has passed away today after battling pancreatic cancer since 2004. For those who don't know Jobs was the face and backbone of Apple. He built the company from nothing to everything. Everywhere you turn nowadays its macbook this "Ipad" that. The true definition of a LYMLIFER, Jobs changed the way we interact with technology. He believed back in 1976 that personal computing was the future and pursued the idea through present day. A genius inventor and revolutionary entreprenuer Jobs made consumers turn their curiosity into wants and their wants into needs. Instead of dwelling on his death we shall dwell on his life. Here at LYMLIFE we salute you Steve for a life well lived. We end this post with a look into Jobs philosophy that drove his life: In his 2005 Stanford University commencement speech he said "Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
He may not have gave back to his community(which we do praise here at LYMLIFE) but, we still have the utmost respect for a true entreprenuerial genius. We throw our L's up for a fellow dream chaser.
